Discontinuation of credit card
Effective Aug. 1, 2018, credit card will no longer be accepted as a valid form of payment.
Credit card will not be accepted with applications received after July 31. Any applications received Aug. 1 or later indicating credit card as a form of payment, will have a requirement added to confirm the payment type, which can be obtained on delivery.
Below is a list of the acceptable forms of payment.
*Agents are prohibited from accepting cash from customers and converting those funds into one of the acceptable forms of payment listed above.
** Funds must originate from the customer’s account.
• At this time any inforce policy that is currently on a credit card payment option will be allowed to continue paying via credit card.
• If the credit card payment is rejected; the payment method will be changed to direct billing and not allowed to resume a credit card payment
• If the credit card payment is requested to be discontinued by the policyowner or payer; the payment method will be changed as requested and not allowed to resume a credit card payment
• We will not allow any new credit card information on our inforce policies.
