So, we want to remind you of the importance of having applicable state insurance licenses in good order to meet individual state regulatory guidelines and ensure smooth processing of your business.
You can help with the process
Make sure the following requirements are met by all parties in the sales hierarchy (e.g., producer, firm, etc.) when submitting new business and servicing existing policies.
• New applications: All licensing is current for the state the application is written in and the product selected before submitting the application.
• Existing business: To receive new first-year commissions on future policy benefit increases, benefit updates, or adjustments, you must be licensed in the state the client resides in at the time of the policy change.
It’s important that if a client moves to a new state, you obtain appropriate licensing for the new state. You can stay informed of address changes of your clients by using our Policy Activity Report via Advisor Digital which alerts you that a client has notified us of their address changing.

• Policy Activity Report. View sales and service opportunities for a producer’s existing book of business (e.g., an alert generates when a client’s resident state has changed and there is a letter on the Client Correspondence Center the producer can view).
• Subscription Services. Sign up to receive notifications when certain correspondence has been sent to clients.
