SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards – 2022 Update New colleges
QUICK SAGE UPDATE:
1. NEW LOOK – Tuition Rewards Website
Log in and inspect the brand-new website. Lots of new features!
www.tuitionrewards.com
2. READY SET COLLEGE website
We’ve launched a unique college search engine that allows students to explore careers; see associated majors; and, find colleges that offer the major(s) and meet other parameters. Seniors can submit an academic profile to Consortium colleges for a quick indication of admissibility. We’re still working on a few improvements. The site is: www.readysetcollege.org
ReadySetCollege is marketed to both participating students and to unaffiliated students thru their HS counselors, enabling additional student profiles for member colleges. (No rewards points are involved for unaffiliated students.)
Here’s a link to our extensive library of admissions preparation materials for students: https://www.readysetcollege.org/?p=library/search
3. SAGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM UPDATE
The scholarship program will continue this year. The grants go to HS seniors graduating this June who submitted their rewards points to and will attend participating colleges. New: Plans are to award three $5,000 scholarships that will be named in memory of Father Tom Schaefer (long-time Advisory Council member and Provost, LaRoche College), Bruce Bedford (long-time member, SAGE Board of Directors), and Mike Midlam (former CEO, Asset Marketing Systems).
4. NEW BENEFIT FOR PARTICIPATING STUDENTS: SAGE SECURE
SAGE Secure is the first no-cost accidental death benefit for the family of students enrolled in a SAGE Scholars member college or university. The SAGE Secure Scholarship is designed to help prevent a student from suffering financially and possibly dropping out of school if his or her family’s primary wage earner dies from an accidental bodily injury.
5. STATS – 2021
We’re delighted to announce that applications from participating students to participating colleges rose 12% in 2021. –Duquesne University, Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Tampa were our most popular Consortium colleges.
