Gerber Life: Important changes to the Gerber College Plan

Product Changes Include:

Elimination of the Single Payment Option

Effective 9/15/2021, the single payment option will be eliminated.  Going forward, pay to maturity is the only payment option available.

Gerber Life Insurance College Plan Unavailable in New York

Effective 9/15/2021, the Gerber Life Insurance College Plan will be temporarily unavailable in New York.  An email will be sent communicating when Gerber Life will resume accepting applications in the state.

Updated Applications & Marketing Material

The Gerber Life Insurance College Plan applications and marketing material have been updated to reflect the removal of the single payment option. The updated application kits and marketing material will be available for download on the Agent Portal and FormsPipe on 9/15/2021.  The electronic applications will also be updated for applications submitted on 9/15/2021.

Please Note:  Applications requesting the single payment option received on or after 9/15/2021 will not be processed.
