IMPORTANT: United Home Life Point of Sale for Term e-App Notification
The following message regarding the UHL e-App is very important.
Please read carefully.
We are pleased to announce that on March 11, our LPOS (Life Point of Sale) decisioning process will be made available for our Term products in ALL states.** Simply by accessing e-App through the Agent Portal, you will be able to submit your Term applications using this improved process.
**Except California – until further notice e-App will be unavailable for our Term products in California due to regulatory changes.
Due to these system upgrades, UHL/UFFL would like to make you aware of the following:
- Any outstanding Term applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM ET, Friday, March 10.
- e-App system will temporarily be unavailable for all states until 2:00 PM ET, Saturday, March 11
With this upgrade, updated Term applications will be available for use, which will replace any previous versions. There will be a 2 week transition period where you can submit both revised and prior versions. Any paper Term applications received in the Home Office March 27th, 2023 or later must be the revised version.
After our new Point of Sale system is live, you can look forward to the following when submitting an eApp for Term:
- The Point of Sale underwriting process will determine which suite of Term products your client qualifies for.
- The Personal History Interview is not required, except in rare instances.
