September is Life Insurance Awareness Month!
Not sure if you knew, but September is Life Insurance Awareness Month—which makes this the perfect time to revisit with clients either in person or by phone to see whether they have the coverage they need. Your willingness to reach out to them will no doubt be appreciated.
Nearly 31% of consumers say COVID-19 made it more likely they will purchase life insurance within the next 12 months.
Items which should be discussed include:
- Do they have enough Life Insurance to cover their family’s needs?
- Do they need to add or change beneficiaries on existing policies?
- Are existing Term policies scheduled to end or increase in premium?
- Are existing universal or whole life policies being funded adequately?
- Do any policies they own include benefits for Long Term Care needs or Critical Illness?
